Accident scene at Bono Manso
A road crash at Bono Manso in the Techiman North District of the Bono East Region has led to the burning to death of three people.
The accident happened around 11 p.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023.
It involved a Kia Granbird bus with registration number AK 285-22, from the northern part of Ghana and a long vehicle with registration number AS 4766 loaded with beverage products from Accra heading up north.
Fire officials at Techiman said three people got burnt alive in the accident and 23 others sustained injuries.
The survivors are being treated at the Techiman Holy Family Hospital and the Kintampo Municipal Hospital.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
