Ga state queen mother dies
The Ga Traditional Council has officially announced the death of the Paramount Queen of the Ga State, Her Royal Majesty, Naa Dedei Omaedru III.
The queen known in private life as Naa Dedei Ablah, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2022 at her Dansoman residence.
She was 88 years old.
According to the Chief of Protocol and Communications Officer of the Ga Traditional Council, Mr S.K Parker, a book of condolence will be opened from February 13, 2023, at the Ga Traditional Council, Kaneshie.
Her Royal Majesty Naa Omaedru III will be laid to rest on April 29, 2023.
Briefing journalists in Accra yesterday, Mr Parker Allotey said an account had been created for funeral donations at the CBG Bank and he pleaded with the public to observe the upcoming funeral rites, such as the ban on noise making and curfew impositions.
