The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ejezie Emeka Rollas, has said thank you to Nigerian President Bola Tinubu for his "fatherly intervention" aiding the recovery of Nollywood star Zachee Ama 'Zack' Orji.

Dr Rollas did so in a statement the AGN’s Senior Special Adviser Media/Press Secretary, Femi Durojaiye, shared on his Instagram (IG) timeline, Saturday, March 30, 2024.

Movie producer and director Orji, who recently underwent two brain surgeries, according to the statement, is very much alive, contrary to rumours of his demise, and is currently in "the United Kingdom for post-surgery assessment".

The AGN also expressed gratitude to First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, "for her motherly care" towards the former AGN president Orji; and the Minister for Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy, for her "relentless efforts in ensuring Zack Orji gets back on his feet hale".
