Medikal: I'll vote for first time this year but I don't know who to choose
Rapper and singer Medikal, 31, alias Beyond Kontrol (BYK), has said he will vote on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
He added it would be the very first time he would have taken part in the democratic process.
The only issue, he indicated, however, was he does not yet know who to support at the polls.
"I’ve never voted my entire life but this year, I will let my vote be my power. Who to vote for is the question [of] the day…" the Not Searching hitmaker wrote on X.
According to the Jean Mensa-led Electoral Commission (EC), 39 candidates have officially picked up forms to file for the presidential election. However, as usual, the main contenders are the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The NPP is led by Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, while the NDC is led by former President John Dramani Mahama.
Medikal has announced a 9-track extended play (EP) titled Healing. Having only three guests, Shatta Wale, Beeztrap KOTM and Kojo Funds, the tape will be out on September 14.
