Maame Serwaa has opened up about some of the things he had acquired working in film all these years.

“I have land and I have built a house,” she laughed contentedly.

She added, “I am building one in Accra at the moment but I already have one in Kumasi,” speaking to Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo.

She thanked “God, my fans, producers who have supported me, brands that have worked with me,” and asked for God’s blessings for them all.

“I wouldn’t have become who I am without them,” she underlined.

Brand ambassadorial deals

Thereafter, the film star who began as a child indicated she was “just ready” to work with any brand interested in a partnership.

“Who doesn’t like money?” she added, laughing.

The exception

Maame Serwaa noted she was an influence on the youth “someway, somehow” and so would not want to work with “anything aphrodisiac”.

“For that in particular, I cannot do it. Everybody out there does whatever they want to do, but for me schoolchildren also watch me so it’d be very, very difficult to advertise aphrodisiac products,” she explained.

Here, Maama Serwaa demonstrated a keen understanding of her power as a public figure, choosing to place profit second to being a responsible and positive influence.
