Pope Skinny's married to an America; 'Fame helped me acquire green card'
“My fame made acquiring a US green card hard and yet easy,” Pope Skinny has revealed.
The Hiplife star who doubled as a radio presenter currently lives and works in the United States of America.
He sat down with Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo, Wednesday, October 9, 2024.
“Fame has opened some doors for me an ordinary name couldn’t have,” Pope Skinny said.
He said when he went for his green card interview, “God being so good, when they Googled my name, they got some good stuff about me”.
The rapper noted there was a reason people are not satisfied with riches, asserting: “You have to be rich and famous”.
“Fame is good. Every human must taste it. If it wasn’t for fame, I wouldn’t be here,” the former radio presenter added.
Pope Skinny testified his fame had provided what he “eats, wears and what he’s achieved so far”.
He said he had not completely relocated to the United States.
“I have a home in Ghana and another in America. My family is both here and abroad, also,” he explained.
He categorically stated, also, he was married.
“I didn’t go to America by sea or desert. If I can go back and forth so freely, you must know I am married,” Pope Skinny revealed.
