Gospel singer Alice Mckenzie dreams of working with Chris Brown
UK-based Ghanaian gospel singer Alice Mckenzie has a dream feature in mind, and it is with American RnB singer Chris Brown.
Alice Mckenzie, currently promoting her latest gospel song, Beautiful, was a guest on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz when she revealed this.
Tagged as the biggest Ghanaian gospel artist based in the UK, Alice spoke to DJ Slim.
Alice McKenzie, honoured as the UK Based Gospel Artist of the Year, blends powerhouse vocals and, as she says, God's beauty, in her music. An Anglia Ruskin University graduate and a registered nurse, she is on a divine mission to reveal the Godhead's power. Alice is also a philanthropist and businesswoman.
In 2018, Alice released her first EP, Ahunutanhunu, featuring veterans Noble Nkestiah and Morris Babyface. In 2022, her second EP, You Alone, included the award-winning Omo God with Morris Babyface. She has ministered in UK churches, receiving accolades like Best Worship Song and Best Gospel Artist at the Ghana Music Awards UK.
Alice's impactful music, including collaborations with artistes like Qwesi Oteng, Kobby Mantey, and Brother Sammy, among others, brings healing, hope, and encouragement. Her accolades include Best Afro Beat Song (TMMP Awards UK 2023) and Best Collaboration Song (Ghana Music Awards UK 2019).
