ACity hosts debut "The Red Stage Talent Show" – five contestants advance to grand finale

Academic City University's Productions (ACity Productions) on March 22, 2025, successfully launched its first-ever "The Red Stage Talent Show," a showcase of student talent.
The event, held at Academic City University's A1 auditorium, drew an enthusiastic crowd of students, staff, and guests.
Eleven talented contestants took the stage, delivering outstanding performances in singing, spoken word, and dance.
The competition was fierce, but five finalists, including Delfa, Doreen, Psalmzy, Diamond, and Jeremy, secured their spots in the grand finale, set for July 2025.
One of the finalists, Delfa, shared her thoughts on participating in the event.
"I was nervous and a bit hesitant to apply; however, I am happy to have taken this step and be part of the grand finale."
Diamond, another contestant, expressed gratitude for the support she received.
"I appreciate the support of my manager for the numerous rehearsals; that's what has brought me this far."
A panel of three external judges brought industry expertise to the competition, offering constructive feedback and applauding the contestants' creativity and stage presence.
Their insightful comments added depth to the event, making it a learning experience for the participants.
Emma, who unfortunately didn't make it to the next stage, promised to improve.
"I promise to put in more effort to come back better."
The audience was excited about the event, and many expressed their excitement for the grand finale.
Victoria Mends, who won't be able to attend the grand finale due to graduation, shared her thoughts.
"It was a great show, first of its kind on campus.
It's unfortunate I won't be here for the grand finale because I will be graduating soon."

The winner will take home ₵2,500, while the 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up will receive ₵1,500 and ₵1,000, respectively.
