Nadia Buari has commented on the tragic East Legon road accident that ended in the death of two 12-year-old girls.

"As a mother, I can deeply relate with the mothers of these kids and what they may be going through by now," the movie star said on her Instagram timeline.

She further grieved: "It is too painful to remember and too painful to forgive."

Ms Buari's comments quoted above were part of what looked like a euology to the deceased teenagers: Maame Dwomoh Boaten and Justine Agbenu.

She, also, prayed to God for "grace" and "strength" for "both families of the kids" and "healing" for those hurt in the accident.

The mother of four, again, prayed for "love and empathy for the victims" and "sympathy for all who may need it".

She shared those words when she posted a media coverage of the church ceremony held for Maame Dwomoh on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Agape New Testament Church, East Legon.

The Saturday, October 12, accident that claimed the lives of the girls has shaken the country, considering their age and cause of death – they were consumed by fire while trapped in the backseat of an Acura SUV, after a Jaguar vehicle steered by a 16-year-old rammed into the Acura while it waited to navigate the Mensah Wood Avenue T-junction in East Legon.

The father of the unlicensed minor who drove the Jaguar has begged for mercy from the bereaved families.

Justine Agbenu's grandmother, however, has asserted the unlicensed minor who drove the Jaguar into the Acura must face the full force of the law "to serve as a deterrent" and to emphasise the need for responsible parenting.
