Daddy Lumba marks 60, astonished by 'the grace of the Creator'

“This is the first time ever, in 60 years, that I’m celebrating my birthday,” Daddy Lumba said, in a viral video.
The music icon and businessman expressed gladness to celebrate his birth anniversary today, Sunday, September 29, 2024, with all his loved ones, including “the crew, fun clubs” etc.
The Mensei Da (I Shan’t Be Destroyed) hitmaker, also, testified about divine kindness and preservation, in view of the successes of his life and career, and the life-threatening sickness he once overcame.
“It is unbelievable to me. I’ve been through all the ups and downs of life but the gracious Creator said I’d also celebrate 60 years,” the Highlife legend said. “Daddy Lumba will not be destroyed indeed.”
With more than 30 albums to his name, Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, has too many hit songs to count. Beginning his career in Germany in the 80s, his influence in pop culture is immeasurable, spanning music, fashion, business and, with the establishment of DLFM, media.
