The fire incident at Makola mall
A fire outbreak has ravaged part of the Makola mall at the central business district of Accra.
The fire, according to eyewitness, started at about 7:25 am on Sunday, 15 August 2021.
The trigger is not yet known.
Fire engines were dispatched to the scene to battle the blaze.
They, however, had difficulty accessing the fire, according to eyewitnesses.
The inferno caused serious damage to a lot of shops at the mall.
About three weeks ago, there was a similar fire incident at Makola which consumed a three-storey building.
