Attacks by armed groups on neighborhoods in the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince have forced nearly 13,000 people to flee their homes, according to a recent assessment by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
According to an IOM report published on its website this week, gang attacks have forced a total of 12,971 citizens to flee their homes.
Residents of the neighborhoods of Carrefour, Taba, Delma, Kôvère, Metiver, etc. are forced to leave their areas due to the increasing acts of violence.
