Nsoatreman's CAF Confederation Cup dream ends with Constantine defeat

Nsoatreman FC’s journey in the CAF Confederation Cup has come to an end.
Ndoatreman’s journey ended after a 1-0 defeat to Algerian side Constantine in the second leg of their preliminary round clash on Saturday evening.
The Ghanaian side, who entered the match hoping to overturn a 2-0 first-leg loss suffered at the Accra Sports Stadium, fell short once again, with Zakaria Benchaa scoring the decisive goal for Constantine.
The result sealed Nsoatreman’s exit from the competition, as Constantine advanced to the group stages with a 3-0 aggregate victory.
Nsoatreman, the reigning MTN FA Cup champions, had high hopes of advancing in the tournament and replicating the success of Dreams FC, who reached the semi-finals last season.
However, their back-to-back defeats in both legs dashed their aspirations of making an impact on the continental stage.
