Ghana Para-powerlifting team trains in France for Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

The Ghana Para-Powerlifting team is currently in France preparing for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, scheduled from August 28 to September 8, 2024.
The six-member team includes three athletes, two coaches, and one team leader.
The training camp in Gennevilliers is designed to provide the athletes with enhanced training regimes to boost Ghana's chances of winning medals at the upcoming Paralympic Games.
The team's stay in France is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the French Embassy in Ghana, and the Mayor of Gennevilliers.
The athletes are Tahiru Haruna, Isaac Obeng, and Patricia Nyamekye. The coaching team comprises Prince Nyarko and George Ohene Adu, with Majeed Eldeen serving as the team leader.
