Black Stars goalie Richard Ofori calls for calm after loss to Cape Verde

Black Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori has called for calm and focus following the team's opening-day loss to Cape Verde. The Black Stars surprisingly lost to one of the least-ranked teams and must now get at least a point from the second game against the Egyptians on Thursday.
Ofori, who started the game as captain believes the Stars still have what it takes to qualify and has called for patience and support for the team ahead of their next game.
“It is very disappointing. Sometimes you don’t get what you want in a game.
The games is two sides.
You miss your chances and the opponent take their chances. We just need to focus on the second game because now there is nothing we can do about this game.
The game is done
What we have to do is that we need to go back there and make sure tat we have to be one.
This is the critical moment that we need everybody. We need Ghanaians.
We need everybody. We just need to stay focused and stay calm ahead of the second game against Egypt, he told ClassSports Kwame Dwomoh-Agyemang at the Felix Houphet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.
Next up for the Black Stars is a tricky encounter against Egypt on Thursday at 8pm.
