Antoine Semenyo to miss Bournemouth’s next EPL clash against Wolves due to suspension
Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo will be sidelined for AFC Bournemouth’s upcoming Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, November 30, at 15:00 GMT at Molineux.
The 24-year-old is suspended due to the accumulation of yellow cards, having received his fifth caution of the season in Bournemouth’s recent 2-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion, where he was booked in the 40th minute.
Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola expressed disappointment after the Brighton defeat and acknowledged the impact of Semenyo’s absence in their next fixture.
“We’re obviously going to miss Antoine, which is significant given his five yellow cards.
Wolves are coming off two wins, while we’re on the back of two losses, so this game is crucial for us,” Iraola stated.
The absence of Semenyo adds to Bournemouth’s challenges as they look to bounce back against an in-form Wolves side.
