2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers: Nigeria beats Rwanda 2:0

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have dominated Rwanda’s Wasps 2:0, boosting their chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In earlier encounters, Rwanda beat Nigeria and there was a draw, too, making this latest scoreline significant for Nigeria.
The Super Eagles’ first goal came in the 11th minute, with their manager playing a 4-4-2 formation led by Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.
Before the whistle was heard to end the first half, Victor Osimhen scored his second goal of the game.
Chelle’s side controlled the game in the second half and limited Rwanda from creating any chances. However, they were unable to get more goals and extend their two-goal lead in the game.
