Stop raising political temperature – Mahama campaign warns NPP
The Mahama 2024 Campaign has warned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) against dismantling or obstructing billboards of its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, and NDC parliamentary candidates.
This follows an incident where the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) Chief Executive allegedly removed a Mahama billboard in Tema.
The campaign team condemned this act as unacceptable and provocative, stating that Alliance Media, the company responsible for the billboard, has the necessary legal permissions and pays required fees.
They expect Alliance Media to take legal action and warned that continued provocations could lead to measures to prevent such acts nationwide.
In a statement, they urged the NPP to campaign peacefully and respect others' rights to political advertising, emphasizing the importance of non-violence and decorum in political discourse.
