Mr. Emmanuel Kwaku Boam, the Parliamentary Candidate for Pru East Constituency on the ticket of the main opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC), organized a vibrant "Health Walk Towards Victory" on Saturday, September 21, 2024, igniting the spirits of thousands of National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters as they united to secure victory for former President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming elections.

Clad in NDC-branded attire and waving party flags, supporters gathered as early as 4:00 a.m. at the party’s office in Yeji, the district capital.

The walk, themed "Walking Towards Victory," saw participants march through major streets, chanting party slogans and singing songs, all in high anticipation of the 2024 elections.

This event followed a similar walk held the day before in the Parambo No-1 zone.

The health walk was a showcase of unity, bringing together the entire leadership of the NDC in the constituency.

Former executives, party cadres, aspirants, and branch members all joined hands Mr Boam, underscoring the party’s collective commitment to victory.

The event also featured Kumawood stars, who had been in the constituency to engage with the community as part of the campaign efforts.

Addressing the crowd, Lord Boam as his popularly known expressed his appreciation for their dedication. "Your enthusiasm and energy are a testament to the strength of the NDC in Pru East.

Together, we will secure victory in December," he said.

Supporters hailed the walk as a major success, emphasizing the party’s readiness to reclaim its seat.

"This health walk sends a strong message: we’re ready to work for Pru East’s development and win in 2024," one participant remarked.

Later that evening, Mr. Boam hosted a "Talent Night," an event aimed at spotlighting young talents in the creative industry.

Dozens of youth participated, showcasing their abilities, and Mr. Boam, who chaired the event, pledged his support for nurturing local talent when he becomes MP.

He urged the youth to believe in their potential and overcome the fear of failure.
