Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang sworn -in as Ghana’s first female Vice- President
Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has officially assumed office as the Vice-President of the Republic of Ghana, making history as the first woman to hold the position in the country.
The groundbreaking ceremony, held in Accra, saw the Vice- President take the Oath of Allegiance and the Vice -President’s Oath, administered by Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo.
