President Mahama returns from diplomatic tour of Angola, Kenya and Tanzania

President John Dramani Mahama has returned to Ghana after completing a series of high-level diplomatic visits to Angola, Kenya and Tanzania to strengthen bilateral relations and foster economic cooperation.
During his engagements, President Mahama reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to deepening diplomatic and economic ties with the three nations.
The visits were part of a broader effort to enhance Ghana’s image on the African continent, positioning the country as a key player in regional development and attracting investments from African partners.
Addressing the media upon the President’s return, Acting Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu highlighted the significance of the trip, particularly an energy summit held in Tanzania, which provided the Ghanaian delegation with valuable opportunities to draw investments into the country’s energy sector.
He described the visits to Angola, Kenya and Tanzania as highly productive, adding that the discussions held are expected to yield tangible benefits for Ghana’s economic growth and regional integration efforts.
