NPP’s Raphael Kumah files to contest Bole-Bamboi seat

The New Patriotic Party (NPP’s) Parliamentary Candidate for Bole-Bamboi Constituency in the Savanna Region, Mr Raphael Kumah Abolasom has submitted his nomination forms to contest the seat in the December 7 polls.
He submitted his forms last Monday, September 9, 2024, to the Returning Officer for the Constituency at the Electoral Commission’s (EC) office at exactly 10: AM.
The young dynamic politician was accompanied by party stalwarts including current and former Constituency Executives, former Parliamentary Candidates, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, Veronica Alele, Council of Elders and Patrons, family, friends as well as party loyalists.
With a solemn procession, the entourage walked to the Electoral Commission office where he filed successfully to formally mark his pursuit to snatch the seat, currently being occupied by the oppositional National Democratic Congress.
Speaking after filing, Mr Kumah reaffirmed the New Patriotic Party's commitment to a free and fair elections on December 7.
He expressed sincere gratitude to the party supporters, financiers, mentors, the youth as well as his friends and sympathizers who have been instrumental in this journey with him to ensure victory.
“To the many citizens and constituents who have placed their hopes and trust in our shared victory, I solemnly assure you that we will not disappoint you.
We will forge ahead, march to victory, and break the eight (8) - a sacred vow and duty that must be kept. I am confident that every stumbling block is surmountable, and together, we shall overcome them,” he assured.
