I’ll contribute to NDC’s victory in 2024 – Omane Boamah accepts Dir of Elections and IT role
Dr. Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, the recently appointed Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has expressed his determination to steer the party back into power.
In an official statement confirming his acceptance of the role within the NDC Elections and IT Directorate, Dr. Omane Boamah conveyed his humility and eagerness to take on the responsibility.
He expressed excitement about collaborating with an accomplished election management and IT team, highlighting their successful track record in the recent NDC Presidential Primaries and the Assin North Constituency Parliamentary by-election.
Addressing key figures in the party including the leader and 2024 flag bearer, President John Dramani Mahama, Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketia, and the entire NDC leadership and supporters,
Dr. Omane Boamah made a pledge to dedicate himself tirelessly to secure victory for the party in the 2024 elections.
Drawing from his previous experience as the NDC’s Deputy Campaign Coordinator for the 2012 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections and his insights into the significance of technology and impartial research in contemporary elections, Dr. Omane Boamah committed to working devotedly, cooperatively, strategically, meticulously, efficiently, and persistently. His aim is to contribute significantly to the NDC's triumph in the 2024 elections, leading to the party's return to power on January 7, 2025.
He recalled the party's past success in transitioning from opposition to leadership in 2008 and stressed the need to replicate that achievement in 2024 for the betterment of Ghana.
