Former La-Dadekotopon MP to run independent in upcoming elections
A former Member of Parliament for the La-Dadekotopon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has announced his decision to run as an independent candidate in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Vincent Sowah Odotei, popularly known as "Obama," has cited a lack of transparency, honesty, focus, and political will within the NPP as the primary reasons for his decision to break away and contest independently.
According to Mr. Odotei, these issues have undermined the party's ability to deliver meaningful development in the country.
In his declaration, Mr. Odotei promised the people of the La-Dadekotopon Constituency that his election would bring much-needed development and unity to the area.
