Dec. 7 polls: EC to begin printing ballot papers Oct. 11
The Electoral Commission of Ghana has announced that it will commence the printing of the Notice of Poll and Ballot Papers for the 2024 General Election on Friday, October 11, 2024.
In a statement signed by Samuel Tettey, Deputy Chairman of Operations, the printing will take place at designated printing facilities selected by the Commission.
A total of eight printing houses have been chosen to produce the materials necessary for the election.
To ensure transparency and maintain accountability, the Electoral Commission has invited agents from selected political parties to oversee the printing process.
These agents are expected to report to the Director of Electoral Services on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Commission’s Corporate Office for a briefing session ahead of the printing process.
The involvement of party agents in the process is part of the Commission’s effort to ensure that all aspects of the upcoming election are carried out in a fair and transparent manner.
