Dec polls: I want to serve in Mahama’s administration – Jantuah
Nana Yaa Jantuah, the former General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), has expressed her willingness to serve in John Mahama’s next administration if he wins the upcoming December general elections.
She confidently stated that her experience working with leaders from both the NPP and NDC has given her a clear perspective on their strengths and weaknesses.
“I don’t dislike the UP tradition, but having worked with everyone, I know who is good, sincere, and honest.
When comparing, I know who truly cares and who doesn't deceive.
I have known John Mahama for 30 years, and he is a genuinely good man.
Sometimes when I hear the things said about him in public, I wonder who they are talking about because it doesn't match his personality,” she said.
Nana Yaa Jantuah also clarified that she has not considered defecting to the National Democratic Congress (NDC), reaffirming her allegiance to the CPP.
She emphasized her commitment to the CPP’s ideals and objectives.
“I haven’t thought about it yet, I’m still with the CPP, and I believe the CPP has a strong brand,” she stated.
During an interview on Channel One TV, Madam Jantuah dismissed the possibility of accepting a ministerial role should Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, win the election.
