Bawumia-branded pick-ups 6 not 100 – BMW

Campaign team of Vice President and flag bearer hopeful of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has denied Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has purchased over 500 Toyota Hilux Pickups for campaign.
A section of Ghanaians have questioned the source of funding for some pickups branded with inscriptions of “Bawumia for President for 2024” in a widely circulated pictures and videos on social media.
Reacting to the viral photos and videos, president of “Bawumia Must Win” a pro-Bawumia Campaign group, Gyasi Boako, said the vehicle were donated by sympathizers and not bought and paid by the vice President.
In a statement, he added that the vehicles belong to a group of individuals who believe and share in the vision of Dr Bawumia and will be used and returned to the owners after the campaign.
