Elijah Kwame Owusu Danso (E-KOD) has observed apathetic voters are energised to support the Movement for Change (M4C) to upset the duopoly of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He spoke to the media on the sidelines of Jukwa Methodist Basic School’s 94th Speech & Prize Giving Day on his Central Regional tour.

The lawyer said Ghanaians were ready to end the duopoly of the NDC and NPP, evidenced by the overwhelming support for the M4C witnessed during their tour of the Ashanti, Oti, and Central regions.

“Our leader Alan Kyerematen has turned the Ashanti region upside down, my tour of the Oti Region was marvelous, and when I came to my home region, despite delays because of traffic jams, Elmina, for instance, they did not sleep but waited for us,” he explained.

“Many Ghanaians are ready for a change but they did not have the right candidate to support and so they said they wouldn’t vote but now they’ve changed their minds and will vote because of me and my boss, Alan Kyerematen.”

The vice presidential candidate challenged the “propaganda that voting for Alan will still not end in his victory”.

“All you need to do is to vote. If you vote for Alan, you’ve not thrown away your vote. You’ve thrown away your vote if you vote for the NDC or NPP, however. They’ve done nothing with the 32 years we’ve given them. As the saying goes, if the destitute says they’ll give you clothes, pay attention to their name and how they look,” the former entertainer said.

He declared: “I am a young man and I have the youth at heart. Alan Cash thinks about the elderly because he is an elderly man himself. Together as a team, we represent all of Ghana and we will progress together.”

E-KOD praised the independent presidential candidate Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen as the right leader for Ghana; “a man who is deeply knowledgeable, understands governance, cares for the people of Ghana and will create employment for rapid development”.

“To end this duopoly, vote for Alan Kyerematen who is the last and 13th candidate on the ballot,” he rallied.
