Cape Coast Teaching Hospital temporarily suspends haemodialysis services
The Cape Coast Teaching Hospital has temporarily suspended its haemodialysis services due to quality issues experienced last week during regular operations.
In a statement, the hospital acknowledged the critical need for this service within its catchment area and recogniaed the challenges this suspension poses to clients and the general public.
The hospital expressed sincere regret over the inconvenience caused by the suspension.
However, the hospital emphasiaed that the suspension is necessary to ensure the continuous quality of care and to protect the lives of their clients.
Management has already initiated corrective measures to resume services as quickly as possible, potentially before the end of next week.
