Thank you for the opportunity to serve as President – Mahama to Ghanaians
President-elect John Dramani Mahama has extended warm Christmas greetings to Ghanaians, offering a message of hope, gratitude, and a steadfast commitment to the nation’s progress.
“Christmas is a season of hope and renewed inspiration,” Mr. Mahama said in a statement, reflecting on the spirit of the festive period.
“As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and the values He exemplified, I wish to thank you, the good people of Ghana, for bestowing on me the opportunity to serve you as your President and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces,” he continued.
In his message, the President-elect expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the electorate while reiterating his vision for a thriving and democratic Ghana.
He reaffirmed his dedication to fostering a nation built on freedom, justice, accountability, and equal opportunities for all citizens.
“I wish to also reaffirm my determination to build a nation that works for all,” Mr. Mahama stated, expressing optimism for Ghana’s future.
