National Chief Imam admires Otumfuo for his wisdom and good heart
The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, has praised the Monarch of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, for his benevolence and wisdom, which he described as powerful enough to bring peace and soothe troubled hearts.
These commendations from the esteemed Muslim leader were delivered by his spokesperson, Sheikh Armiyau Shuaib, during the fifth Akwasidae Festival on June 23, 2024.
Sheikh Sharubutu, who is 105 years old, was unable to attend any of the 25th Anniversary events of His Majesty. Instead, he sent a delegation to represent him and convey his message to the King at the Manhyia Palace during the festival.
It was explained that his absence from the anniversary celebrations was due to the recent passing of his wife, Hajia Rahmatu Tahwee Sheikh Sharubutu.
