NSA boss urges preferential recruitment for former service personnel in security agencies
Mr Osei Assibey Antwi, the Executive Director of the National Service Authority(NSA), has called on the government to prioritize the recruitment of National Service personnel who have completed assignments within security agencies.
According to Mr. Antwi, these individuals bring valuable experience and skills gained during their service, making them ideal candidates for permanent roles in security agencies.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of a training workshop for service personnel in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Antwi stressed that failing to recruit these trained individuals would be a missed opportunity for the security sector.
He emphasized the importance of utilizing their expertise to strengthen the country’s security.
Mr. Antwi’s appeal reflects a push to ensure that the professional development of service personnel does not go unrecognized and that their acquired skills are put to good use for the benefit of the nation.
