Ignore claims we’re pursuing NDC’s Malik Basintale – Police
The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has denied allegations circulating on social media that it is pursuing Malik Basintale, the Deputy Communications Director of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In a Facebook post on Thursday, 5 September 2024, the police clarified that no such action had been taken against Mr.Basintale, dismissing the rumors as completely unfounded.
"We wish to categorically state that the claim is false," the Police emphasised.
The Police therefore urged the public to disregard the circulating claims, advising people to "treat it with the contempt it deserves."
