E/R: One dead, 3 injured in gun attack on Miaso-Akanteng road
One person has been shot dead and three others seriously injured in a gun attack on the Miaso-Akanteng road in the Fanteakwa North District of the Eastern Region.
The incident occurred at around 4.40 am on Wednesday, 2 December 2020.
According to an eyewitness, some unknown gunmen attacked and shot at a truck transporting cattle to Akanteng.
The bullet hit the driver’s mate, who was sitting in the bucket of the truck with some three other Fulani herdsmen.
The driver’s mate died on the spot.
The three wounded Fulani men are receiving treatment at the Begoro District Hospital.
