Can Ghana rise from the ashes? – Tsatsu Tsikata to address topic at CSJ Dialogue Aug 28th

The Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) is set to host its 14th Leadership Dialogue on August 28th, 2024, at 6:00 pm at the School of Law Auditorium, University of Ghana.
Renowned lawyer and academic, Tsatsu Tsikata, Esq., is expected to deliver a keynote address on the critical topic, “Can Ghana Rise from the Ashes?”
The dialogue, focusing on governance, economic transformation, and human development, aims to spark a robust conversation about the nation’s pressing challenges and potential solutions.
Mr. Tsikata’s address is expected to delve into the systemic issues hindering Ghana’s progress and offer insights into pathways to recovery.
To foster a multi-generational perspective, the event will feature a documentary showcasing the experiences, hopes, and aspirations of both young and elderly Ghanaians. This visual narrative according to the organisers will provide a rich context for Mr. Tsikata’s analysis and recommendations.
Additionally, the dialogue will address the controversial topic of Ghana’s historical narrative, challenging the current government’s interpretation of past events.
Dr. Christina Amoako-Nuama, a former Minister for Environment Science and Technology and a two-time Senior Presidential Advisor, will chair the event.
CSJ is a platform of academics, social change activists and Ghanaian patriots advocating progressive social transformation and people centered development in Ghana.
The Leadership Dialogue Series is the flagship civic education platform of the Centre to nurture mass political participation and patriotic values through intellectually stimulating discussions with prominent national leaders.
