GA/R: MP announces free vacation classes for SHS students
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Okaikwei Central Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Mr. Patrick Boamah, has declared the initiation of free vacation classes for Senior High School students in his constituency.
The classes aim to assist students who could not participate in vacation classes during the break.
In an interview with Classfmonline.com, the MP mentioned that the free vacation classes will run from February 5 to March 6, 2024, concluding before the reopening of SHSs for form two students.
The classes, sponsored by the MP, will be conducted at the Abeka Presbyterian Church premises.
The MP expressed that this initiative is a gift to parents, especially considering the financial strain during the festive season. Additionally, the Okaikwei Central Constituency Secretary, Mr Charles Owusu Kwarko, announced the acclamation of Mr Patrick Boamah as the governing New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for the 2024 general elections.
By Article 12(7) of the party's Constitution, a constituency delegates conference is scheduled for Saturday, January 27, 2024, to acclaim the MP.
