CID picks up Menzgolder for threatening NAM1

Members of the Coalition of Aggrieved Menzgold Customers on Monday, 6 January 2019, massed up at the headquarters of the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service to solidarise with their colleague who was invited for allegedly issuing threats on the life of Menzgold CEO Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM 1).
The aggrieved customer, identified a Nana Kissi, in a radio interview on 30 December 2019, allegedly threatened to go after NAM 1 over his inability to pay his customers’ locked-up investments.
The aggrieved customer’s outburst follows a purported payment schedule released by the company to commence payment of its customers’ funds.
Class News’ Mercy Obeng Akrofi reported on Class91.3FM’s mid-day news 12Live that Nana Kissi, as of the time, had spent over an hour under interrogation.
Mercy reported that about 30 customers of the embattled company massed up in solidarity with their colleague.
They have vowed to resist any act of intimation by the police.
