STC, Ghana Navy hint at 'possible areas of collaboration, including water transportation'

The Managing Director of Intercity State Transport Company (STC), Mr Ligbi Alhassan, has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Naval Staff, Ghana Navy, Vice Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu.
The visit took place at the Naval Headquarters in Accra on Monday, February 24, 2025.
According to the official and verified Intercity STC Coaches Limited Facebook page, “The discussion centred on exploring possible areas of collaboration between the STC and Ghana Navy.”
The ideas on collaboration included water transportation, STC further revealed.
If successful action attends the discussions, the collaboration could reduce heavy vehicular traffic on roads, improving time keeping, health, and safety of road users.
The move would advance local tourism, also.
