NSA orders termination of appointments of volunteers nationwide

All Heads of Department (HoD) and Unit Regional Directors of the National Service Authority (NSA) have been directed to terminate the appointment of all NSA volunteers nationwide.
This was communicated in a letter dated February 21, 2025, and signed by Mr Felix Gyamfi, Director General, NSA.
“As part of the restructuring of our volunteer program in National Service Authority (NSA), the appointments of all volunteers in our offices will be terminated effective February 28, 2025,” the letter explained.
The authority said the termination will affect all “except the districts that have one staff managing it should have one volunteer assisting, those managing vacant districts with one assistant, cleaner, catering and the farms.
“We want to express our gratitude for their dedication, hardwork and commitment to NSA.”
“HoDs, Unit Heads and Regional Directors must ensure that all property belonging to NSA such as laptops, documents, motor bikes are returned to NSA by the end of the deadline,” the letter concluded.
