A member of the Election Committee of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mahdi Gibril, has lost his mother.
Mr Gibril received the news of the death of his mother while on CTV’s Dwa Bre Mu show with Nana Otu Darko, Friday, May 12, 2023.
Upon receipt of the news, the distraught NDC Election Committee member announced that he had just been informed of his mother's passing.
He requested to exit the show and left.
