Foreign Affairs Minister assures Ghanaians in Nigeria of Vice President’s well-being

Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has assured Ghanaians living in Nigeria that Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman is in good health and recovering well, despite recent reports raising concerns about her condition.
Speaking during an engagement with the Ghanaian community in Nigeria, the Minister urged citizens to disregard speculative news circulating about the Vice President’s health, describing the claims as exaggerated.
“There’s no cause for alarm.
The Vice President is doing well and will be resuming her official duties very soon,” Mr. Ablakwa said.
His remarks come amid growing concern among Ghanaians both at home and abroad regarding the Vice President’s recent absence from public functions.
The Minister's reassurances were aimed at calming fears and restoring confidence in the nation’s leadership.
He emphasized that Vice President Opoku-Agyeman is receiving the best possible care and that updates will be provided when necessary through official channels
