Dr Yaw Twum grabs HAG's health worker of the year award

Dr Yaw Twum, the founder of Global Dental Technical Service, has been honoured with the Health Worker of the Year Award at the 2023 Humanitarian Awards Global event, which took place at the prestigious Labadi Beach Hotel on Saturday, October 28, 2023.
The Humanitarian Awards Global seeks to acknowledge and celebrate a diverse range of non-profit organisations from various sectors that are dedicated to community service and societal advancement.
The awards programme aims to shine a spotlight on non-profit organisations, not only to recognise their impactful work but also to amplify their voices and expand their opportunities.
Through this, the initiative strives to cultivate a global environment of positivity and proactive engagement.
The ceremony also has the goal of identifying, acknowledging, and honouring outstanding individuals and groups from 30 different countries worldwide, who are making a positive impact on the lives of people.
The awardees are celebrated in a grand fashion.
Dr Yaw Twum in an interview, expressed his gratitude to the event organizers and the Board for this prestigious recognition.
He dedicated the award to all health professionals in Ghana, emphasising that this is just the beginning.
He quoted late former US President Woodrow Wilson, saying, "There is no higher religion than human service. To work for the common good is the greatest creed.
