Chairman Dollar inaugurates two new 23-seater toilet facilities worth GHS 1.6m
Two new 23-seater toilet facilities have been officially inaugurated in two communities within the Madina Constituency in the Greater Accra Region to enhance the residents' comfort and well-being.
Speaking at the inauguration, the Chief of Otinibii Traditional Area, Nii Adjei Kweidza Mensah IV, along with his elders, expressed their gratitude for the initiative.
"When we realized that our old structure was in very poor condition, so we approached Chairman Dollar and his friends.
Today, we see the results of their promise.
This facility is very important to us, the chief said.
According to him, the old one was in terrible shape, and this new edifice will benefit not just our community but also the surrounding areas," said the chief.
Former Constituency Chairman for Madina on the ticket of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Eric Nartey Yeboah, popularly known as Chairman Dollar, emphasized the significance of the project.
"This is what the Lord has made, in collaboration with Kweiman and the La Nkwantanang Municipal Assembly, and friends.
This public toilet will serve the people of Kweiman and its environs.
We also promise to provide an ultra-modern 23-seater public toilet for the communities of Teiman and Pantang," he stated.
Chairman Dollar elaborated on the new facility's features, which include 23 seats for both men and women, some with full water closets and others with squat options, depending on preference. The building also includes a small bedroom for the caretaker, ensuring it can operate efficiently 24/7.
The cost of these two new public toilet is GHS 1.6m.
The communities expressed their excitement and gratitude for the new facility, highlighting how it will significantly improve their daily lives.
