Team Eternity Ghana grieves ‘sudden’ demise of Nhyira Marfo Okyere

Singer Nhyira Marfo Okyere has passed away.
Nhyira was a member of Team Eternity Ghana.
According to a statement by the Gospel group, Nhyira’s death on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, was “sudden”.
The Defe Defe hitmaker expressed confidence in Nhyira’s faithfulness to God and asked for prayers for her family and members of the group.
Nhyira was seen performing with Team Eternity Ghana on Sunday, August 4, leading the contemporary youth choir for their gig at Fountain of Glory, Assemblies of God Church, East Airport, Accra. Thereafter, Nhyira was seen with Team Eternity Ghana at Kwaku Kwame’s Journey to the Throne Room event. She led the group sing Stella Seal’s Okura Ye Mu on both occasions.
Though the cause of her death has not been revealed by her family or Team Eternity Ghana, reports on social media suggest she Nhyira died after an epileptic attack.
Just a year ago, Team Eternity Ghana mourned their singer Kevin Kwesi Adiamah, too, while they prepared for the release of their hit album Testimony which houses chart-topping singles like Defe Defe and Ghana Chant.
