Shatta Wale thanks fans for helping fill the Accra Sports Stadium
Shatta Wale has expressed his deepest appreciation for the historic turnout at his 'Freedom Wave Concert' at the Accra Sports Stadium on Christmas Day.
In a statement released on Twitter, Tuesday, December 27, 2022, the 'On God' hitmaker gave praise to God first.
"To God be the glory, great things he is done in our lives and in my career as a musician," he said.
"I remember telling my fans that with the Almighty God by my side, my loyal fans and my team, the 360 stadium agenda will be heavily executed and really and truly it was delivered perfectly," he noted.
Shatta Wale and his collaborator Medikal had aimed at filling the 40,000-seater edifice which he dubbed 'Agenda 360'.
Taking note of its fulfilment, he extended his "gratitude to the technical team, sponsors and every fan of Shatta Wale who made it a responsibility to come support the 'Agenda 360' last night."
The Shatta Movement (SM) leader also promised followers and supporters "nothing but the best of everything I will do in all my endeavours."
"Whatever anyone lost in helping me, Medikal and colleague musicians make this historic feat, I pray you also receive many folds in return," he prayed and wished the fans "a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year."
The 'Freedom Wave Concert' happened on Sunday, December 25, 2022 and ended on the morning of Monday, December 26. It was advertised that the stadium would receive patrons from 1 p.m.
Tickets ranged from GHS20 to GHS100.
Shatta Wale arrived at the stadium at 5 a.m. and performed beyond 7 a.m.
Seeing the mammoth crowd even at that hour, he broke down in tears at one point before performing his 'Bullet' megahit.
