Kwabena Kwabena: Men are 'designed' to take care of women | A woman who genuinely loves you won't stretch you beyond your financial abilities

Beloved Highlife singer and songwriter Kwabena Kwabena has argued that a woman who asks of a man financial favours clearly beyond his abilities does not love him.
Thursday, February 2, 2023, Kwabena Kwabena made an appearance on Accra 100.5 FM's mid-morning show 'Ayekoo Ayekoo' hosted by Nana Romeo.
Rhetorically asking if anyone has ever seen a woman push her broken-down car on the road and emphasising that it is men who are usually called on in such instances to help, he posited that: "Men are designed to take care of women."
He continued by saying this is evident in the average man's dealings with women whether he is financially strong or otherwise.
On a woman asking extravagant things of a man when she is well aware of his financial inability, he opined: "If she knows your status and does this, excuse me to say this but it's possible she does not really have genuine feelings for you."
"When someone has genuine interest in you, they know things about you that will even shock you," he stressed. "A woman who loves you will not bring you a bill she knows you cannot afford."
He ended by sounding a clear warning to his fellow men to be careful dealing with women who stretch them beyond their budget.
Kwabena Kwabena released a 14-track album, 'Fa Me Saa (Take Me As I Am)', on Friday, November 11, 2022.
The 'Afraid to Lose You' hitmaker's Vitamilk Love Night concert is set to take place at the National Theatre on Saturday, February 11, 2023.
