Joselyn Dumas: Actress appointed Deputy Director, Diaspora Affairs

Actress and TV personality Joselyn Dumas has been appointed by President John Mahama as the Deputy Director, Diaspora Affairs, Office of the President.
The news of the appointment broke, Sunday, March 2, 2025.
In her office, Ms Dumas will work under the leadership of fashion and media star Kofi Okyere-Darko (KOD).
Influential creative arts personalities, the duo is expected to leverage their rich networks to improve Ghana’s relationship with its diaspora community, and vice versa, strategically promoting Ghana’s culture and interests, and encouraging tourism and investment.
For Love & Country, a film to premiere on Sparrow Station on YouTube on Ghana's 68th Independence Day March 6, marks Joselyn Dumas' production debut.
"A few days to the swearing in of her husband as President of the country, the incoming First Lady discovers her lover is dead in her bed, in her hotel room," the award-winning actress wrote on her Instagram for synopsis.
