Funny Face home from Pantang, acknowledges kindness of Gyan brothers on his birthday
Comic and TV star Funny Face has been brought home from hospital after receiving medical care.
“Yesterday, Baffour Gyan brought me home from Pantang Hospital,” a healthy-looking and good-spirited Funny Face said in a video, while he received a birthday cake from Asamoah Gyan.
According to Funny Face, Baffour Gyan “saw some unbelievable things at Pantang,” but he did not explain if they involved him or other patients at the popular Accra-based mental hospital.
On Instagram, former football star and businessman Asamoah Gyan celebrated Funny Face, born Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, as “my brother” and “the man on a mission”.
Asamoah Gyan said he and Funny Face had “really fought a good fight behind the scenes and here we are now,” perhaps, indicating he had effectively admonished Funny Face during his recent meltdown where, via social media, he vulgarly attacked the mother of his triplets, and his mates in the creative arts industry, threatening to kill one.
Gyan, in his October 1, 2024, post on IG, also thanked his big brother Baffour Gyan and Emmanuel Adebayor “for accepting to be there for our brother”.
