According to Ghanaian international dance group Dance With A Purpose (DWP) Academy, their biggest payment for work done has been from American pop superstar Beyonce.
DWP's Talent Manager Ernest Kwablah, alias Quables, disclosed this to GhanaWeb TV's Talkertainment in an interview.
The Adenta-based group's biggest cheque so far has come from "...Beyonce, I will not even lie," Quables said.
"I can't give a range but it came from Beyonce," he added.
He was adamant to disclose the the range or hint at the amount paid the group for their 2020 collaboration with Beyonce for her 'Already' hit song which also featured Ghana's Reggae/Dancehall star Shatta Wale.
He, however, stressed that the amount given the dance group was hefty and it came as no surprise given who Beyonce Knowles-Carter is.
"Come on, it's Beyonce! If I say it's Beyonce, you have to understand that. That is Jay-Z's wife, so..." he laughed.
According to Quables, DWP Academy's Global Citizen Festival 2022 collaboration with American R&B superstar Usher Raymond IV also was lucrative.
"Our work with Usher was also very good," he disclosed but again without specifics.
He touted the marketing power of the group.
"Anybody that works with us knows that we give you value for what you pay for," he said. "We've made songs go global."
He cited: "Overdose [by Mavin] because we created that choreography."
Also, "the song 'Down Flat' blew up because of the dance [we created]," he added.
"What the artiste is going to get back is millions," he said to GhanaWeb's Elsie Lamar.
Dance stars from the 6-year-old group include Afronitaa, Endurance Grand and Champion Rolie.
The founders of DWP are: Ernest Kwablah (Quables), Laud Konadu (Dancegod Lloyd), Justice Kwadwo Kumi (Jkay), and Nicolas Botchway (Afrobeast).
