Caveman Watches honours famous Nigerian actor Richard Mofe Damijo at EMY soiree

Nigerian actor Richard Mofe Damijo, popularly known as RMD, has been honoured with a Caveman watch from Anthony Dzamefe, CEO of Caveman Watches, at the Exclusive Men of the Year (EMY) Awards 2023 Soireè in Lagos, Nigeria.

Together with Mr Dzamefe, the stunning timepiece was presented by Ghanaian industrialist and founder and CEO of Special Ice Ltd Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong. 

The event which took place at the Mercedes Benz showroom, Victoria Island, is an antecedent to the main awards taking place on October 14, in Accra, Ghana.

The EMY Africa Awards is an esteemed platform dedicated to celebrating exceptional African men and personalities for their notable achievements and significant contributions, and for inspiring positive change across Africa and beyond. 

Founded by Mr Kojo Soboh, this prestigious event also includes complementary awards for women challenging the status quo.

As a hallmark annual event, the EMY Africa Awards draws attention from renowned personalities, dignitaries, and industry leaders across various sectors.

The EMY Africa Awards aims to bring together like-minded young achievers, game changers, and innovators who are making groundbreaking strides in their respective fields. It was designed to inspire excellence and uplift men, particularly in a Pan-African context.

The EMY winners’ circle includes visionary individuals such as Akinwumi Adesina, Tony Elumelu, Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), Adebola Williams, Lanre Olusola, Seyi Tinubu, Ayo Animashaun, Don Jazzy, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, and Ayo Makun – AY, among others.

The EMY Africa Awards not only celebrates achievements but also, aims to inspire the next generation of leaders.

To build up to the main awards ceremony in Ghana, EMY Africa organised an exclusive soiree in the African financial centre of Lagos. The gathering celebrated both past Nigerian awardees and present nominees.
